Tying Your Article In to Your Squeeze Page So You Get Maximum Subscribers II

In the bio, I am going to introduce my squeeze page like this: Do you want to learn not only how to lose weight, but to lose weight fast? I have written a brand new ebook “How to Lose Weight Fast”; you can download it for free here: (link).

Now I have started the article talking about losing weight and how difficult it is, and I am progressing through the article in such a way that when the reader has finished reading my article, he wants to know more about losing weight faster.

Now the next step is of making sure you squeeze page is the right squeeze page for this article. Your squeeze page should be about losing weight fast, not about anything else. Your squeeze page must be very congruent with your article itself, to get the maximum mileage out of the article.

I really want to stress the issue of congruency and of making sure your articles flow smoothly into your bio, and that your bio flows smoothly into your squeeze page, and so on. I think this is critically important, more so than many have taken the time to see.

I want you to think about a very non-ideal campaign first.

Imagine you are writing articles on number of different somewhat-related topics, for example, weight gain, weight loss, healthy teeth, and healthy bones.

Imagine that your squeeze page is about weight gain. Let us assume that you have done a good job of tying everything together on the weight gain article and squeeze page so that you get around a 50% conversion rate on that squeeze page.

Do you want to learn more about how I do it? I have just completed my brand new guide to article marketing success, ‘Your Article Writing and Promotion Guide‘

Tips For Group Speeches And Duo Interp Public Speaking

Good group speeches are often based on short stories. Here are some tips and thoughts on group or duo interpretation public speaking.

My definition of Group Interpretation - often called Interp - or Duo Interp is: Two people or a group of five to seven perform a excerpt from a play, novel, poems, short story or other literary script. One does the monologue lines and the other group members perform the characters.

In general, there are four types of college or university group interpretation speeches: group interpretation, duo interp, humorous and dramatic interpretation. There a some other mix forms, but these are the major group speech categories.

Each with its own special public speaking rules and requirements, depending on the assignment or event. There is one simple golden rule: it’s important to select a duo piece or group speech topics that every group or duo member like!

With a little fantasy college students can transform short stories into speech topics for a group. The challenge is to present a literary script in such a way that the audience imagines action being described rather than witnessing it being performed. Two ways to perform:

Make hand gestures, pantomiming movements or even dance.
Change the manner of speaking and tone of voices.

I can’t give you a general advice on time limits. Most duo pieces and group speeches are not more than ten minutes long. If you choose one of these speech-topics-help.com/group-speech-topics.html possible group speech topics for speech-topics-help.com/special-occasion-speech-topics.html special occasions and you think a script is too long, just cut it and modify it into an appropriate group speech topics length.

Mass Article Submission is Killing All Article Marketers

Article Marketing has long been one of the most powerful forms of online marketing. But, in the past year or two it’s effectiveness has taken a huge hit. The reason for this “hit” is mass distribution of articles to hundreds of article directories.

So few article marketers realize the importance of unique content to Search Engines. This is why they are turning to mass article distribution. They think the more sites that contain their articles the better.

This was true in the past but extensive testing and tracking clearly shows that submitting your articles to only a few of the top article directories will provide much better results.

What are the effects of Mass Article Submission?

The negative effects that mass article distribution creates can be seen from two angles:

Author - The actual article is no longer unique in any way, as it appears on hundreds of URL’s across the Internet. This is looked at as a light form of spam by the search engines. Their robots will crawl these pages and in most cases put them into their index. But, although these article pages are in the index, they will not receive the traffic they would have gotten if they had been submitted to only a few authority sites. Now the author will not get the exposure he or she intended.

Article Directory – With more and more authors submitting their articles to so many other Websites, the article directories do not have content that is unique to their site. This means the article directories are not nearly as effective for the authors as they once were, in turn hurting the author once again.

If you think about it, submitting your articles to the masses is actually shooting yourself in the foot along with all other article marketers.

Imagine how much more effective article marketing would be if everyone submitted their articles to only five or ten article directories. Each of these article directories would skyrocket in the search engines higher then ever creating MUCH more exposure to all article marketers.

To see exactly how I use articles to conquer just about every niche I touch, take a look at my new articlemarketingdomination.com/ Article Marketing Ebook “Article Marketing Domination” at articlemarketingdomination.com/ articlemarketingdomination.com/ where I reveal all of the secrets on how to run a successful article marketing campaign!

Earning A Living Online-The Simple Way

Freelance writing can be very lucrative, especially with the current boom geared towards article marketing. And alarming statistics still tells me that there are tons of qualified freelance writers still struggling to make a living online. One would think that the law of supply and demand would work things out and put freelance writers and marketers seeking their wares to gather. Shouldn′t they be making lots of cash almost effortlessly?

A lot of freelance writers come from a non-marketing background, and more often than not, they lack the ability to get the word out about their talent and simply cannot drum up enough business. One of the biggest disadvantages that online freelance writers have is that they are usually not marketing experts and in fact hardly possess enough marketing skills to be able to find clients online.

In the offline world, freelance writers had it a little easier because all one needed was one or two solid clients and your freelance writing career would take off like a rocket. Online the situation is very different because the rates are much lower and the only way content providers can embrace success is by handling plenty of work from numerous clients.

Unless you know a great deal about marketing, a good rule of thumb when you transition to online writing is to seek the advice of a competent Internet marketer who can steer you in the right direction. There are some high quality freelance sites online geared towards the freelance writer that they can check out and hopefully get their career rolling right out of the gate. Many content providers have been able to taste a little success in this way.

List Building with Article Marketing - Mistake #2 - Putting the Focus on Numbers over Responsiveness

Article marketing is a fantastic way to build your list. One of my students recently told me she was listening to a teleseminar where the speaker said that using article marketing to build a list was passe. My response was let’s just hope all of our competition believes that.

While article marketing continues to be a great way to build your list, there are some common mistakes that are made. Let’s take a closer look at one of the most common mistakes.

List Building with Article Marketing - Mistake #2

The second most common mistake made when list building with articles is to focus on the numbers instead of responsiveness. Many internet marketers focus on the number of people on their list, so they can walk around at meetings saying, “I′ve got 37 billion quadrillion people on my list.” They don’t care if some of them are responsive or some of them even read their stuff. They don’t care if some of them are dead. Kind of like old church rolls. They just want to be able to say they’ve got 37,000 trillion people on their list.

I would rather have a small responsive list than a list with 37,000 trillion people on it that are not responsive. If I had to choose between a small responsive list and a large unresponsive list, I’d take the small responsive list every time.

Now, of course, you want to create a large responsive list. The point is that over focus on the numbers will hurt you. Focus on responsiveness when list building with article marketing.

Freelance Writing Jobs: Attract More High Paying Assignments Than You Can Possibly Handle

Despite the fact that the World Wide Web has created a huge growing market for writers, freelance writing jobs are still not easy to come by. Or are they?

How do you explain the fact that many leading online writers have more freelance writing jobs than they can possibly handle. And all the clients are more than willing to pay the price that they have asked for?

You are about to discover the magic formula most of these writers use to land many more jobs than they can possibly handle. They then have to go through the pleasurable process of selecting which particular freelance writing jobs they want to do (obviously the ones that they will enjoy doing most).

It is really very simple. All you need to do is start by setting up a page advertising your online freelance writing services. Write about it in an attractive manner that will attract freelance writing jobs for you. Include the price or fee you wish to charge per article or freelance writing job.

Once you have finished doing this, the next step is to simply get as many other sites and blogs to link to this page in your blog or site, as possible. This is much simpler to achieve than you think. In a moment I will give you a simple technique on how to do this, but first I would like to emphasize a very important point.

It is absolutely critical that you consistently continue to build up the number of links pointing to your site for a s long a period as you can. The nature of links is such that at times some of your busiest will suddenly run dry. Thus the only way to maintain a constant flow of high traffic through your links is to keep on accumulating them consistently all the time.

Finding Your True Voice As A Writer

Finding one’s voice as a writer is the difficult but necessary first task facing every new author—spelling and grammar perhaps excepted. While there is no better or other way to become an authentic, original writer than to write, and write, and write… the practise of making perfect, of being true to yourself by finding your own true voice can be aided and abetted in a number of ways.

1. Avoid over-analysis and intellectualisation

Inspiration is like a sky rocket, a fast moving, suddenly lit firework; ride it heavenwards while the flame burns bright; ride it without care for length of journey or name of destination.

If inspiration is a sky rocket, excessive intellectualism is surely a fire extinguisher; suspend the dampening effect of critical thought by putting aside the intellectual mind, and its tendency to doubt, limit and measure—listen instead to the voice of inspiration within. The more you let it take its own form and course, to speak unhindered, the more fruitful and authentic your writing will be.

2. Seek inspiration in silence

Inspiration can also be sought in silence and in depth, just as in the practise of meditation. Some writers talk of the process of learning to write as “finding their voice,” an experience analogous to the subtle, instructive inner voice sought in meditative discipline. In a contemplative, instructive vein, Jack Kerouac advised “Write what you want bottomless from bottom of the mind.”

You can find your true writer’s voice, and in fact the source of creativity itself in stillness of thought. With patience, wait for the ripples upon the mind’s surface to subside; there you will see inspiration and creativity staring back at you. Listen always to their whisper.

3. Form and technique are destructive, not constructive

Don’t get distracted by technique in the beginning; the pen should be the instrument of your inner voice—not the other way around. On a computer, ignore layout, font-size and line-spacing; just let words pour forth. Form can be addressed at a later date, and often more constructively from a suitable distance. When starting out, stay up close and focused, one word at a time.

4. Writing is a conversation

View writing as a conversation. If you imagine yourself as writing for an audience, which really is the point of writing—having something worth saying to somebody worth saying it to—writing becomes not a solitary act but a communication, talking in silence with potentially the entire world. Imagine and then feel a conversation with another as though they were actually present, like a best friend, close inside your heart; then the words naturally will come. This technique is one to way find your true writer’s voice—you give it expression in the act of talking to an imagined other.

This method is also used in television and in radio, where the reality of being in front of millions of people can produce fearful paralysis. Also for actors, who use their imagination to aid a more natural performance, to ‘just be themselves′ in front of a lifeless camera. It is no different writing at a computer—not always in truth an environment conducive to natural, expressive conversation.

When done well, writing is a conversation, but with you as listener, dictating a voice that speaks from within.

5. Be courageous

Be courageous, even if you have to lie to yourself; convince yourself that you are brilliant! You are a writer—imagination is your chosen weapon, so use it to your advantage. A blank page can be daunting, a failure of ideas discouraging; if imagining yourself as a great writer gives you the necessary courage and self-belief to be able to write, then do so.

As meditation teacher, poet and writer sensitivitytothings.com/category/sri-chinmoy/ Sri Chinmoy explains, “Insecurity goes away when we acquire the capacity of identification.” If you can identify with the capacity to write well you are half-way to actually doing it. Repeat bravely with Jack Kerouac “You’re a Genius all the time,” for almost anything goes when you have an empty page to fill.

6. Be your best critic, not your worst

If a word or idea refuses to come you, a sentence denies completion, and ‘next′ remains an unanswered question, the worst sin is to get caught up over it. Negativity, worry and self-doubt are an anathema to creativity; anything that stops you moving, progressing forward should be shunned. Remember this as a maxim: “keep moving, keep moving.”

Like Jack Kerouac again, who would imagine himself heroically as author-athlete, his writing an act of physical and mental athleticism. Arguably his best novel, “On the Road″ was written in a single three week sitting, a Herculean effort of endurance which required an unbroken ream of typewriter paper 120 feet in length. Obviously this is somewhat extreme, and to continue the sporting analogy, it is suggested that his performance was illegally ‘enhanced,’ but the analogy is good like an athlete keep moving, keep writing—skip a paragraph, write back to front if necessary or in order of thought; even move on to a completely different project—writers often have scores of works on the go simultaneously, awaiting the muse of inspiration for their completion.

7. First-thought, best-thought

The “first-thought, best-thought” aesthetic of Zen Buddhism is one well-practised technique used to find the authentic writing voice, a technique borrowed from meditation to bypass the filter of intellectual mind, appropriated but not invented in the modern era by the Beat poets and writers—Allen Ginsberg most famously. First thought here is considered to be ‘true’ thought: perception unmediated by the distorting lens of intellect or the surface personality. It is another way of describing intuition, and is the basis of the saying “First impressions don’t lie.”

Formalised as “spontaneous prose” by Kerouac; and by Ginsberg, “spontaneous, fearless telling of the truth of naked, authentic experience” to paraphrase, developing spontaneity and intuition in your writing will work miracles for your creativity, not to mention sense of authenticity and authorial power. Discarding rationality and reason is a hotline to your heart as a writer, and getting your heart, your authentic voice and self on the page is the only way to move and inspire your readers.

The final word goes to Allen Ginsberg, who said, “The only thing that can save the world is the reclaiming of the awareness of the world. That’s what poetry does.” In its capacity to convey truth and feeling, prose written from the heart may just save the world as well.

John-Paul Gillespie is a New Zealand based writer and designer with a love of writing and a practise of meditation. A member of the Sri Chinmoy Meditation Centre, he footnotes meditation as the inspiration underlining all of his writing sensitivitytothings.com/ sensitivitytothings.com/

188 Stage Hero’s Journey (Monomyth): A Marker of Change

The Hero’s Journey (Monomyth) is the template upon which the vast majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters are based upon. In fact, ALL of the hundreds of Hollywood movies we have deconstructed (see URL below) are based on this 188 stage template.

Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters. This is the template you must master if you are to succeed in the craft.

The terminology is most often metaphoric and applies to all successful stories and screenplays, from The Godfather (1972) to Brokeback Mountain (2006) to Annie Hall (1977) to Lord of the Rings (2003) to Drugstore Cowboy (1989) to Thelma and Louise (1991) to Apocaplyse Now (1979).

THERE IS ONLY ONE STORY

THE HERO’S JOURNEY:

a) Attempts to tap into unconscious expectations the audience has regarding what a story is and how it should be told.

b) Gives the writer more structural elements than simply three or four acts, plot points, mid point and so on.

c) Gives you a tangible process for building and releasing dissonance (establishing and achieving catharses, of which there are usually four).

d) Gives you a universal structural template upon which you can superimpose your situational story. This is why stories such as Alien (1979), Gladiator (2000), Midnight Cowboy (1969), American Beauty (1999), The Graduate (1967) and many others (all deconstructed at the URL below) appear to be different but are all constructed, almost sequence by sequence, in the same way.

and more…

ABRIDGED TIP(S):

*****Shape Shifter Revealed and The Red Herring*****

The shape shifter’s true nature becomes apparent [post the Rebirth through Death]. In The Incredibles (2004), Bomb Voyage assists the Incredibles to escape.

Red Herrings and misdirections are toyed with and implemented. In Star Wars (1977), Han considers “leaving this party.” In Syriana (2005), we are led to believe that it is Whiting who will be sacrificed. In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), we are led to believe that Severus Snape is a threat.

*****Marker of Change*****

Change is in the air and it is illustrated by a marker (before embarking on the Road of Trials). In Dances with Wolves (1990), the buffalo arrive. In Godfather (1972), the exchange of gifts and the chaperones foreshadow a new beginning. In Romancing the Stone (1984), Joan looks at Jack with bedroom eyes.

So What’s Wrong With A Little Shameless Self-Promotion?

I was sitting at my laptop the other day just minding my own business, not bothering a living soul. I promise. I wasn′t bothering anyone.

Well, as history would have it, my step-daughter walked in the door carrying a package addressed to me. I was astonished when she announced who it was from. Really astonished.

“EzineArticles,” she said, handing me the package.

“You’re kidding?” I turned. “EzineArticles? What are they sending me?”

I was surprised, you see, because, as we all know, EzineArticles is an Internet business. I get e-mails from them all the time. Why would I be getting a snail mail package from an online business, and an article directory, no less?

Well, I raced to open the package. I was curious. I was so curious, in fact, that all my other mail just fell to a stack of unopened envelopes of various sizes. But that package, the one from EzineArticles, attracted my attention the most. It couldn’t wait.

I ripped, I tore, I swore, I sunk my teeth into the tape and incised the heck out of that package until it finally snapped and bore its contents right before my very eyes. Oh, and what a sweet surprise!

I gazed in awe at a brand new coffee mug, complete with the EzineArticles logo and web address on it. Magnificent! How did Chris Knight know I like coffee? I thought.

Well, it was the best Thanksgiving gift I’ve ever received. The letter accompanying it said so:

“Thanks for being an EzineArticles.com Platinum-level author! You’re receiving this small token of our appreciation for sending in your best articles.”

My goodness. It was signed by none other than Christopher Knight himself. What an honor!

Now, I was aware that Chris and EzineArticles.com was taking advantage of my addiction to coffee for the purpose of shamelessly promoting their article directory in the privacy of my home. But I didn’t care! I love coffee. I drink it every day.

I’ve never given Chris any money. I’ve never spent one dime at EzineArticles.com. It’s a totally free article directory and I use it for all it’s worth. Sure, I have about 30 articles listed there, but is that anything to speak of? Is that any reason to appreciate me, little old me? I mean, I’m just some guy who uses them to shamelessly promote my business. I do it about once a week. Should I stop? I wondered.

Well, I’ve slept on it and I’ve decided I won′t stop. I like coffee too much and I’m hoping next year Chris will send me another mug so I can give it to my wife. After all, she likes coffee too. And there’s really nothing wrong with a little shameless self-promotion every now and then. Thank you, Chris! And may the universe bless you and your sweet little mug this year with lots of articles on coffee addiction.

5 Easy Money Making Article Writing Creative Boosters

Writing an article doesn’t just mean putting down thoughts into words then typing and writing it. You have to capture the interest of your readers and get them to keep on reading. To send your message across you have to get the attention of the reader and have a firm grasp of their interest and pique their curiosity.

The main ingredient in making up an article is a large dose of creativity. While creativity may come natural to many people, some just gets into a block or something to that effect that can drive someone crazy. Many writers have literally torn their hair out when they get writers block and just can’t seem to get their creative juices flowing.

Putting words into images in the readers mind is an art. A clear and crisp depiction requires a certain flair that only creativity can provide. Similes and metaphors help a lot, but the way an article gets entwined word for word, sentence by sentence then paragraph by paragraph into a whole article develops the essence of the article.

So just what do you have to do when nothing comes to mind when you are trying to get an article written? There is no surefire ways to get the perfect ideas but there are easy ways to get your creative juices flowing. No one can guarantee you of having the perfect mindset but many methods may aid you in achieving that state of mind. Here are five easy ways for that.

1) Keep a diary or a journal with you always. Ideas can be triggered by anything you may hear, see, or smell. Your senses are your radar in finding great ideas. Write all of them into a journal and keep it with you for future reference when it’s time for you to write your article. You may also write down anything that you have read or heard, someone’s ideas could be used to develop your own ideas and this is not stealing. Remember that ideas and creativity can come from anywhere; it’s the development of the idea that makes it unique.

2) Relax and take time to sort things out. A jumbled mind cannot create any space for new ideas. Everyone must have a clear mind if one wishes to have their creativity in full speed. Get rid of all obstacles that can be a hindrance to your creativity when trying to write articles. If you are bothered by something, you cannot force your mind to stay focused.

Try to relax every time that you can and think about your experiences and interactions with others. Your experiences are what shape your mindset and your opinions which could be reflected on your writings. Try to discover yourself, find out what triggers your emotions. Discover what inspires you and what ticks you off. You can use these emotions to help you in expressing yourself and your ideas, with this you can grow creatively.

3) Create a working place that can inspire your creativeness. Your working place can be quite a hindrance if it doesn′t make you feel happy or relaxed when writing an article. Creativity comes from being in a good state of mind and a messed up workplace that causes distraction won′t be conducive in firing up your creative flow.

Surround your working place with objects that makes you happy and relaxed. You may put up pictures, or scents, objects that inspire, or anything that can get your creativeness cranking. A clean and well organized workplace also rids of distractions and unwanted hindrances. With a good working place, you can work in peace and never notice the time pass by.

4) Set the mood. Setting that article writing mood requires you to just go with the moment or to induce your self to feeling what makes your mind works best. Finding out what makes you tick could help you find ways to get your creative juices flowing. Set the pace and tempo for your mood and everything else will follow.

There are many ways to set the mood. Some writers have been known to use alcohol, a little sip of wine to stir up the imagination. Some would like some mood music while others let the lighting of the environment create the mood.

5) Go on a getaway and just do something unlike crazy. Letting yourself go and have fun produces adrenaline that can make your imagination go wild. Take an adventure or a solemn hike. Whatever it is that is unusual from your daily routine can take the rut out of your schedule. In no time at all, your creativeness will make use of that experience and get your imagination to go on overdrive when starting to write an article.

Listen…

It will be of no use to you if you follow these methods to write a great article when there is no one to read it. Your main aim in writing is to get people to read it and build your credibility as an expert. So in order to get your article out there in circulating around in the Internet, you will have to do something about it. You need to put it in front of everyone’s face and to do that you will need to submit it to many article directories.

However, it is too time consuming (even for me) to submit to dozens or even hundreds of article directories. I am too lazy to do that so I have a tool to do that and it saves me hours and even days of effort.

Therefore, you would want to quickly &amp easily drive insane targeted cash-in-hand prospects and visitors to your web site using the magic of article submission!
